Sister Circle Retreat F.A.Q.
What is the rooming situation?
You have options! All guests have the option of reserving a room in the Lodge & Spa (single or double occupancy) or a cottage (located adjacent to the Lodge & Spa) that sleeps 4-8 people (2 queen beds in each room). The cottages are equipped with a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, living space, and a small outdoor patio. These options offer our guests the opportunity to have a communal living experience or a private room.
Looking for a roommate? Interested in securing lodging in a cottage but in need of a roommate, look no further! Upon securing your registration, you will be provided with a resource to assist you in connecting with other individuals that are interested in communal living.
How do I make my room reservation at Callaway Gardens?
Upon completing your pre-registration and securing your retreat registration with a $200 deposit (to initiate an installment agreement) or by paying your registration in full, you will use the link below to reserve your room at Callaway Gardens. You may also use the following number to speak directly with a reservation representative to book your reservations directly, 1-855-943-6375. Installment agreements can be initiated during the early bird registration only (4/26/24-5/15/24). Standard registration will begin on 5/16/24 thru 8/1/24.
What happens after I click the booking link?
Once the Reservation Link has been clicked, guests need to click the blue “Show Rooms” tab to see all lodging accomodations available at the group rate. Guests need to click the “BOOK NOW” tab to make the reservation online for the specific room type preferred.
What is the amount that I will be responsible for at the time of booking for lodging?
At the time of booking, a deposit of one night’s stay is required.
May I cancel my lodging reservation at any time?
Reservations may be changed (7) days prior to arrival, to include cancellation or change in length of stay. After seven days, reservation changes or failure to arrive will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
Am I responsible for my own travel arrangements?
Yes. Once you have either paid for your Sister Circle Retreat experience in full or secured your space with a deposit, you should make necessary arrangements to/from the trip destination. Callaway Gardens Lodge & Spa is located at: 17800 US HWY 27, Pine Mountain, GA 31822.
It is located approximately 1 hour from the Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport. In the past, participants have traveled to the retreat destination independently and by carpooling in groups. Please check in with the office to assess ride sharing options as they become available.
How much is the retreat?
Retreat registration will begin 4/24/24 and end on 8/15/24.
Early registration is $800 (plus transaction fee) from 4/24/24-5/15/24.
Standard registration is $875 (plus transaction fee) from 5/16/24-8/15/24.
How do I pay for the retreat?
We use an app called TravelJoy to facilitate retreat payments. Please use the link below to secure your retreat registration.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes.
May I cancel my retreat reservation at any time?
No. Your retreat reservation is non-transferable and non-refundable.
When should I arrive?
The actual retreat experience will commence on Thursday, September 12th, 2024 at 5:00 PM. Standard Check-in begins at 4pm. Early check-in is based upon availability. Please contact Callaway Gardens for inquiry. To begin caring for yourself, you are welcome to plan ahead and spend time relaxing on the property in the morning on September, 12th, 2024. Your discounted lodging rate applies from September 12th - September 15th.
What time do the events end on Sunday?
Please plan to be present Sunday until 1:30PM, however, you are welcome to stay later and explore the property if you would like.
What should I pack?
Comfy/casual clothes, shoes, and yoga wear.
Is there a Meet and Greet?
Yes! The Sister Circle Retreat Welcome Reception is one of the most important events scheduled for the weekend. The Welcome Reception will take place on Thursday from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The full agenda will be shared with registrants, so be sure to save your spot now!
How will additional charges be handled that are not included in the retreat?
You will be required to provide a credit card at check-in to cover any incidentals. The hotel will place a hold on your debit/credit card in the amount of $50.00. This hold will be released upon check out if no room charges are made.
Is full retreat participation required?
No. We welcome you to engage the process at your own pace and comfort level. While there will be enriching activities and breaks scheduled throughout the weekend, we ask that you take care of yourself as needed along the way. We do however, encourage everyone to attend the Welcome Reception if possible.
Can I bring friends or family with me to the retreat?
We welcome you to bring a friend or a family member. The retreat is designed to be relaxing, transformational or both. We encourage you to be intentional in selecting a guest that will not distract you from your process. Please note that childcare is not provided, and all participants must complete their own registration process.
How will meals be handled?
There are 4 different restaurants on the Callaway Gardens property. These restaurants are: Country Kitchen, Discovery Café, Gardens Restaurant, and Spirit 52 are located inside of the Lodge & Spa.
Cottages have fully equipped kitchens. Traditionally, individuals who choose a communal living arrangement organize meal planning and shopping as a group prior to the retreat. They also coordinate meal preparation as a group over the course of the retreat weekend.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided during breaks throughout the retreat weekend.
