Starting The therapy Process


Step 1

Phone Consultation

Schedule a 15-minute complementary consultation to identify the following:

  • the challenges that you are currently facing & and how you would like your life to be different

  • get to know Dr. Camp & determine if her skill set is best suited for you

  • learn more about what you can expect from therapy

  • learn more about the role that you can play in your healing journey

  • discuss payment, payment options and insurance details

  • schedule an intake appointment

Patient Portal

After scheduling your initial appointment, you will be added to the patient portal, receive an appointment reminder, and a confidential HIPAA compliant virtual meeting link. On the day of your appointment, Dr. Camp will join you in the virtual portal at your designated meeting time.

Intake Documents

Through our confidential client portal, you will gain access your client profile and intake documents.

  • new patient form

  • obtain confidential HIPAA compliant virtual meeting link

Goal Setting Session

The goal setting session will consist of one to two meetings. These session(s) will result in:

  • an exploration of your history, background, and immediate concerns

  • identifying therapeutic goals

  • the development of a treatment plan

Therapy

Therapy consists of weekly 45min sessions with short or long term options.

Payment

 

Forms of Payment

We accept all forms of electronic payment: Debit and Credit card: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express. Full payment is requested at the beginning of each session. A processing fee of about 4% will be charged on all credit card transactions. An automatic $35 fee will be assessed on all returned checks, and charged to your credit card on file.

Fees

  • Complimentary Initial Phone Consultation – 15 minutes

  • $200 per 60-minute Initial Psychiatric Consultation – Clinical Diagnostic Interview

  • $165 per 50-minute Therapy or Coaching Session

  • $190 per 60-minute Couples Therapy Session

  • $60 per 90-minute Group Therapy Session

  • Rates for Workshops & Continuing Education Programming are negotiated on a case-by-case basis

Reduced Fees

At Camp Psychological & Consulting Services we also offer services on a sliding scale for some individuals based upon need. Requests for sliding scale fee reductions are handled on a case-by-case basis for individuals who are financially disadvantaged and who have no insurance coverage for behavioral health services.

Administrative Fees

For non-clinical services like report writing, telephone conversations lasting longer than 15 minutes, preparation of records or treatment summaries, and time spent on individual/specific requests, our hourly fee is charged or prorated if less than one hour is needed.


Insurance

 

Many individuals with health insurance choose not to use it to cover mental health services, and instead pay “out of pocket” for these services. Some individuals use their flexible spending or health savings accounts. Most often, this is due to concern about the privacy of their health information and the potential release of this information to health insurance companies.  Clinicians at Camp Psychological are required to provide insurance companies with a DSM-V diagnosis if you choose to use your insurance benefits to cover fees.

Camp Psychological & Consulting Services is a participating “in-network” provider for Aetna and Ambetter insurance companies.

We are an “out-of-network” provider for other insurance companies. If you are a policy holder of another insurance plan, you may have an “out-of-network” benefit which allows you to see any therapist, pay directly at the time of service, and be partially reimbursed by your insurance provider.  Many insurance companies will cover at least 60% of fees. To facilitate this process, we can provide you with a receipt for services that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy

 

A full fee is charged for all scheduled appointments unless we receive a cancellation notice at least 24 hours in advance of the designated appointment time.
